Projects & Progams
Schools Without Borders (SWB) runs various programs around the world, which make learning more accessible and engaging for today's youth. All of our programs use a hands-on/project-based methodology that encourages youth to take responsibility for their actions and equips them with essential life-skills.

   1. Leadership Seminars (ages 15-18)
        - 3 week adventure-based programs in Brazil and Kenya
   2. Community Projects (ages 17-22)
        - 5 to 6 week projects in Rio's favelas & Nairobi's slums
   3. Volunteer Placements (ages 21+)
        - 3 to 12 month international placements
   4. Re-Mix Project
        - skills development using urban culture in downtown Toronto.
   5. Arts-based Community Initiatives
        - Creative development strategies (ie. film, music, graffiti etc.)

Furthermore, we work in collaboration with our Partner Organization and the communities in which they operate, to ensure a participatory approach to development. As a result, we offer unique and dynamic programs as youth from different walks of life gain knowledge, exchange best-practices, and develop the skills necessary for self-growth and responsible action
